![]() When folks try to hook two programs to the same COM port, that is not an HRD problem. I appreciate the frustration of folks who can't get things to work, but as someone mentioned when folks are using cheap knockoffs for USB to COM port devices (for example), that is not an HRD problem. If the program was fundamentally flawed, I don't think it would have worked so well for me. I run HRD over the network between the computers to control my radios, interfaced the HRD logging program over the network as well, connect the AMP and all so everything works together, in sync and I have NEVER had any major issue with HRD. My shack is totally computerized with two computers networked together (among several other devices). ![]() There ARE known bugs and issues that are being worked on, as with every piece of software. I've been using HRD for years and I have no problem with it. Computer systems and the rig connections are all complicated and there are numerous areas problems can arise. ![]() Having followed these discussions now for YEARS regarding HRD, it's my firm belief that the majority of issues folks have with HRD are NOT HRD generated issues, but elsewhere.
